Living Elements did an amazing job on my outdoor space. They built a beautiful retainer wall with seating caps, laid fresh sod with a new irrigation system, and added a pergola that looks perfect. The stamped concrete finish really tied everything together. Their team was professional, efficient, and easy to work with. I’m really happy with how everything turned out and would definitely recommend them.

We decided to get 4 bids, two came in pretty high and 2 were about equal. After talking with Firas, Scott and Eric, we decided to go with Living Elements to bring our dream alive. Right from the start there was great communication, always attentive and answered every question along the way, very professional! They were able to start the job much earlier than first anticipated to our delight. The finished product was amazing! It was exactly what we were expecting and then some! Thanks Living Elements Landscaping Team for the beautiful curb appeal! 5 stars!

I just had moved to Sacramento after a lifetime in the Midwest. I was not prepared for the lack of greenery not to mention space. I could not afford to do anything about the amount of space I could afford. But I was able to afford to do something about my backyard. I went from a blank, beige space to my favorite place for rest and relaxation. I know most do not find it worth dealing with live plants, but to have a nice, green haven means everything to me. Thank you to Matt, Bilal and everyone involved for making my dream come true. Getting to have a little putting green was the biggest game changer! I would have never thought of it, but after the suggestion and installation I have been able to improve my game from the comfort at home any time I like. It is also fun for guests. Thanks again! Couldn't be happier and was worth every dime.

Very please with the outcome, Matt was very helpful throughout the process and responded quickly to every question or concern I had. Vik and the team worked hard and did a great job.

We had stamped concrete, a retaining wall with water spill and also had putting green installed. Our home is a new built so we started from scratch and at the end was turned into an oasis. Hubby is really enjoying playing golf in our backyard! Thank you Living Element for making this happened 😊

Living elements is a fantastic company to work with. They are prompt, fairly priced, and do exactly what they said they will do and more. My sprinkler and drip system works perfectly. The sod, mulch and plants look fantastic. They explained everything well, which was extremely helpful for myself who was doing a landscape project for the first time. I could not be happier with their work. In addition, the project manager James Smith is attentive and conscientious throughout the process. He was enthusiastic and took great pride in his work, even picking up small pieces of construction material when everything was finished. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

We just completed a large landscaping project at our Davis home that included the complete make over of our front and back yards, new concrete driveway expansion, covered patio and trellis, plus installation of a bocce ball court. Living Elements had the lowest of three bids combined with the best first impression. We are so grateful we chose to work with them! Job supervisor Matt is a true professional who bent over backwards to ensure we were happy with every aspect of the project. Job foreman Izzy is highly knowledgeable and hard working, as well as a pleasure to work with. They delivered everything we expected and more. Job changes and additions were handled very fairly. Most importantly, we now have the yard of our dreams that we will enjoy for many years to come. Thank you to Living Elements, a family business that delivers old fashioned customer services at an excellent value.

In a world where service providers are often inattentive, overpriced, inflexible, and slow to respond, Matt and his team at Living Elements are a rare and refreshing exception. From the very first interaction, Matt was responsive, respectful of my budget, professional, and punctual, and every member of his crew reflected the same values.

I hired Living Elements to landscape my front yard, and the experience exceeded my expectations at every turn. Matt not only listened closely to our vision, but brought an aesthetic eye and design instinct that elevated the project far beyond what we imagined. He was accessible at all hours, whether it was a weekend or early morning, he always took the time to engage thoughtfully and provide valuable input.

Unlike many contractors I’ve worked with who show up late (if at all), leave early, or stretch jobs out indefinitely, Matt's team showed up every day with energy, focus, and a smile. Even when weather threw us a curveball, they stayed on track and delivered the finished product ahead of schedule.

In short: they did what they said they’d do, when they said they’d do it, and they did it exceptionally well.

If you’re looking for a landscaping partner who is trustworthy, creative, reliable, and genuinely invested in your satisfaction, look no further than Living Elements. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome, and I’m confident you’ll feel the same way.

						Update:

This company has proven they know what dedication and customer service should mean! I spoke with Bill (owner) about 2 weeks after the completion of our project to share some concerns. Not only did he send a crew to fix things, he had them provide an extra service that was not part of the original contract - for free!

When you consider all of the local landscapers I contacted in Marysville/Yuba City ignored my request to provide a bid and Living Elements came up from Sacramento twice, There really isn't a good reason not to trust them with your home improvement project.

I reached out to Living Elements to have my property upgraded and get rid of some very ugly mulch. Their estimator walked the property with me and we discussed what I wanted done. He convinced me to replace the front lawn with new sod and made the price attractive.

---

Work started on 4/25/17 with the cleanup. The crew did a great job getting almost everything out the first day, but I feel they were held back by the estimator, now foreman, who seemed to keep the details of the project in his head and not let the crew in on the full plan. I made a point to re-walk the job with the crew chief, and things got better.

On day 2, I was told that they could not find a supplied for the 5/16 red lava rock that was really the only non-negotiable part of the job. I reminded them that I had already located a local supply yard that carried it and provided a flier with the contact information and contractor pricing. Work continued and we now had a nice front lawn and most of the weed barrier down.

By the end of day 3, most of the ground cover was down, but there was not enough rock to finish the job. I contacted Bill at this point, because I was a bit concerned his foreman was more interested in selling me on a maintenance contract than finishing the project to the agreed upon specs. Bill was a pro, and assured me he would get things done right.

End of the project, we have our new lawn, the ugly mulch is mostly gone, they left some in the back, and the new walkway on the side of the house is looking good. Some of the drip lines are exposed, but I can fix that, and their irrigation pro get the sprinklers up to par to help me keep everything alive.

All-in-all, I would recommend Living Elements Landscaping for your outdoor project. Bill is a professional and very interested in getting things done right. I deducted one star from my rating because of the tactics of the original foreman. I think the job would have gone much smoother if he had let the crew in on the plan, and I'm not happy with him charging me $375 for 4 very tiny azalea bushes. For that price, I expected mature plants. Bill - I'd suggest you check his receipts pretty carefully, we both may have gotten fleeced on those plants.

Reached out to the Living Elements office to get a quote for my backyard and was immediately given an appointment for a free estimate with Matt. Matt offered his expertise and with our general idea, offered suggestions as to how he would optimize our space. After receiving a few quotes, we decided to work with Living Elements as they were reasonably priced while providing the services we wanted (grass, concrete, sitting wall with planter box).

On the first day of our project, we were introduced to James, our project manager. From day 1, James ensured that we were happy every step of the way. While he brought samples for us to look at initially, we wanted to see more but could not find time to go to the showroom. James went out of his way to get us the samples we wanted to see and we decided to go with his suggestion and could not be happier. The team worked efficiently and were very detail focused. We were quoted a 2 week window for our project, and it finished right on time. James provided daily updates as to what to expect and when so we wouldn't be surprised when the team arrived. I would highly recommend Living Elements for your landscaping needs!

After many years of looking at dead grass, overgrowth, and wasted space, we decided to have the backyard renovated. We were looking for a very low maintenance concept. Matt first came in and gave really good ideas on the layout, and project manager James gave further detailed suggestions that we really liked! I loved James’s energy and professionalism; more importantly he is all about communication. I can text/call him for any questions and concerns, and he responds right back! Luis and his crew did an amazing job with the concrete, mulch, and decorative rocks. We are now buying patio furniture and decor. We are beyond thrilled with our outdoor space and looking forward to having friends and family finally enjoy the backyard! Thank you Living Elements Landscape!

I had a great experience with Living Elements Landscape. The team was on time every day, fairly priced, professional, and delivered exactly what I wanted. They removed all of the grass and unwanted plants, replanted the new plants I selected, and installed decomposed granite throughout the space. Everything was cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day, which I really appreciated.

Carlos, the project manager, and Feras, the owner, both checked in with me daily throughout the project to make sure everything was going smoothly and that I was happy with the progress. Communication and follow-through were excellent from start to finish.

Overall, it was an awesome experience, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for landscaping work.

Great to work with Living Elements Landscape. They did an amazing job. My front yard was over run with English Ivy. It all had to be removed, graded, landscape matting put down. I went with a dryscape rocks so that I don't need to water anything. I love it, requires no upkeep. They also extended my retaining wall, it was partially completed with cinder block so i needed the rest completed as the part that was not cinder block was rotting wood and falling apart. The team was great, was a pleasure to work with the Field Supervisor's Bilal "Bill" and Matt. Can't say enough good things about these two, they were on time kept me updated on what has happening. Working with Living Elements over the past two years has been seamless and simple. Their pricing and process along with their delivery of my vision for both my front and backyard were spot on: their team of professionals that do the work are amazing and respectful to your life and never leave a mess behind them.
